In Haiti, 80% of the population lives under the poverty line and the average income is only a few hundred dollars per year. Jhonson Augustin, a metal craftsman from Croix-des-Bouquets, says knows “Our work is our tool to fight poverty”. Jhonson will visit East Coast states along with CAH and SERRV representatives to discuss impact of the earthquake and demonstrate his craft.
