Are you stuck for gift ideas? Don’t know what to give that awkward uncle or a difficult teen for Christmas? Need a great Hanukkah gift for under $20? The Fair Trade Federation (FTF) wants to help you find that special Fair Trade gift for every member of the family.

The FTF Holiday Gift Guide features gifts for Babies & Kids, Him & Her, and harder to find Tweens & Pets.  There’s also a section featuring certified Fair Trade Foods (Gourmet) and Home Decor.  And if you happen to have a Fair Trade Enthusiast in the family they’ve included gift ideas for them too!

The FTF Holiday Gift Guide is part of  the FTF’s  Shop Fair, Give Fair Campaign.  The Shop Fair, Give Fair campaign encourages buyers to look for the FTF logo when shopping this holiday season.  This is the first year the FTF has produced a Holiday Gift Guide featuring products from FTF members.  Hundreds of products were submitted to be included in the guide, but only a few were selected.  The FTF partnered with FairTrade.us (that’s us) to produce the guide.  The production team worked together to chose the products and categories, as well as the design.  Further, all of the products chosen for the FTF Gift Guide, and a selection of those that did not make it, will be featured in the Product Review section on this site (fairtrade.us).

The most powerful aspect of the Holiday Gift Guide is the shopping directory.  The Where to Shop Fair Trade section has a comprehensive list of 194 Brick and Mortar Fair Trade retail outlets listed by State or Province ( in Canada), and a listing of organizations that exclusively sell online or through festivals & home parties.

The Holiday Gift Guide is the only guide you’ll need to find Fair Trade gifts!
