John Carroll University Hosts Ohio Fair Trade Expo & Marketplace
The Ohio Fair Trade Expo will feature speakers and workshops for members of
faith communities, high school and college students, and fair trade advocates
discussing the Fair Trade movement in Ohio. As part of the Expo, more than
twenty vendors from across the state will also participate in a Fair Trade
Marketplace, that includes clothing, artisan crafts, food, and drink products.
The Expo is intended to be an educational event that will empower consumers to become advocates for
fair trade by raising regional awareness of the concept as an important and viable business model.
